“Common Enemy” is an entertaining, well written and edited novel. There is good dialogue and some memorable scenes. The main protagonist is quite despicable and there’s a female P.I. who pops into his life and is the more likeable character. Together they make a fun duo.Although crimes are happening like a domino effect, the protagonist lawyer gives us his thoughts about why he won’t go to the authorities to report the murders. His reasoning is far-fetched to justify his lack of reporting. It’s a stretch even for fiction. However, the plot must go on!
The author maintains a fluent pace with the storyline. It’s a fun read… on or off your next vacation on a cruise ship!

This was a fun read and once into it I could not put it down. I'm looking forward to the next novel in the series
This is my second Commoner book and I had a good time reading it. Fast paced and unpredictable. And Bach writes with great wit.
Wonderful book! I couldn't put it down once I'd started. It has all the elements of a page-turner -- thrills, terror, sex, suspense -- and it's suffused with light-hearted humor. It's like a modern-day Nick and Nora romp. I hope the next two books will be out soon, as I can't wait to follow Raam and Kayman's upcoming adventures.
Richard Bach writes an up-to-date, fast moving murder mystery which caught my interest. If you enjoy mystery , you'll enjoy this one.
This was a very fast, fun and entertaining read! I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the interesting characters even though this is not my usual genre. I figured out who the bad guy was pretty quickly, but it didn't really take away from the suspense. The book is very fast paced, which I found great, as I could finish it very quickly. Overall a very fun read!
This was a good book with a very interesting plot. I really enjoyed it.
It passes the main test of books like these in that it has a very compelling villain. I'm not going to spoil anything but damn, he is a scary and clever guy. I also enjoyed the exchanges (and building sexual tension) between the two lead characters, they bounced off each other very well. Its no great piece of literature, but its a fun quick read, In fact it would be a perfect for reading on the plane. Looking forward to the next book!
